The weather tried to be a hindrance but the Jozi party goers wouldn’t let the terms be dictated to them. The crowd came in at a slow pace because of the overcast conditions. The event was well organized with everything running smoothly. The event was well promoted but the question remained, would the weather bring doom and gloom. As the line-up clearly shows this event has something for everyone.
On the hip hop floor the DJ’s playing everything from the classic old school hip hop that to the new school sounds. The heads slowly gather enjoying the jovial scenes. The ladies where looking like they came straight out of a hip hop video. The likes of T’bo Touch, naked, dimplez and many more had they crowd bobbing the heads, crumping and everything else with the carefully selected tunes.
The sun started being visible from behind the clouds to the relief of the crowd that had already gathered. On the main stage Mi Casa started their set and the crowd immediately started moving closer to the stage. The crowd is now coming in a speedy rate and scenes are starting to resemble a true fiesta. The sun has allowed the ladies to wear more “comfortable” summer attire to the delight of the gentlemen in attendance.
Liquid deep came in and pleased the crowd the vast numbers of hit. The crowd is singing along to every song and enjoying every moment. Despite the slight breeze doing the rounds the spring fever was in full effect. As you can clearly see from the line-up the hit makers where here and kept the crowd entertained. Dj cleo, professor, Tira and many more had the crowd on the main floor going crazy.
Rulers of the deep, well the name says it all. Giggs Superstar has the house lovers enthralled to his amazing set. Here it was truly all about house music. All in all this was a hugely successful event that showed how proper organization and promotion will equate a successful event. A special thank you to soulcandi and Sheree obrian.
